Roswell Roots Cornbread Cook-Off - The first annual Cornbread Cook-Off will take place at Pleasant Hill Community Center with a prize for Best Cornbread chosen by our professional judge, Ms. Susan Puckett, author and former Atlanta Journal/Constitution Food Editor. We'll also have a People's Choice Award chosen by you, the attendees! Everyone will get to sample each of the competitors' cornbread and then vote for your favorite! Christmas for Kids 2011 Special Thanks Pleasant Hill Community Center has been helping families with holiday assistance for over 4 years. From humble beginnings of just a few families, the program has grown every year. Through the combined efforts of churches, individuals, businesses and volunteer groups, we have helped over 200 families and over 400 children celebrate the holiday season while relieving an additional financial burden. We would like to thank the donors, sponsors, and volunteers for your support of the 2011 PHCC Holiday Program. It is our hope that you will once again partner with us to bring the joys of the Holiday Program to the families and children we serve.
